One day he appeared to be just fine.
Not too long after, they said he was dying.
What is this tragedy we find
that takes the lives of so many
kind--
those in control - those out of
line?
Should one persist and keep on trying
or perhaps retreat and end the
fighting?
Can you really blame us for crying
when we found out you were dying?
At the sound of your name many will be
sighing
for years to come --
at first denying, then realizing
that we have lost A GREAT ONE.
